Join us on the 27th of September to fight for climate justice and indigenous sovereignty! We as rangatahi are sick of the constant broken promises from both Government and the Christchurch City Council. We demand immediate climate action now, as well as for our founding document Te Tiriti o Waitangi to be respected and honoured, and for the NZ Government to outrightly support those currently suffering terrible atrocities in Palestine due to the genocide.

Whether it means leaving school or work early, join us, because these are three interconnected kaupapa that cannot be pushed aside any longer. We are so excited to see you there!

Some of our demands include:
-Repealing the fast track bill
-Abolishing the Treaty Principles Bill
-Granting the humanitarian visas for those in Palestine
-Building climate friendly infrastructure eg. bike and bus lanes, in Ōtautahi Christchurch
-Urban density

We will begin at the Bridge of Remembrance with waiata, speeches and a theatrical surprise, then march on to the Christchurch City Council where we will share our demands and meet city councillors. Make sure to bring water, a sign, weather appropriate clothes, and a snack. Please also attend wearing black clothes. Why? You will have to come to find out!
