About Mina:

Mina Ruaporo, 27, is of Cook Islands descent and resides in Porirua. As a freelance dancer, choreographer, educator, and costume designer, Mina founded her dance group, Te Varā, in 2022. With a bachelor’s degree in Creativity Performing Arts Pacific and Contemporary Dance, she has contributed to various projects and created her own works, including serving as the lead choreographer for two international tours in Europe. Mina is passionate about dancing, creating, and giving back to her communities through her artistic services.
