Te Wiki O Te Reo/Mahuru Māori: Tōku reo tōku ohooho may be the upcoming event you’re looking for.

Travel from Otou to Motupo-hue using books, library resources and memories of our own experiences and knowledge of the Aotearoa landscape.
This reading club looks at utilising our memory recall to keep our minds working while learning about our community.

Tales and Travels is a library programme starting in North America, exploring how libraries and reading can be used as a way to promote social isolation and maintain memory recall skills for all people. This has a particular focus on people experiencing memory loss challenges and a way for them to explore through familiar, and not so familiar, resources, cultures, communities and experiences.

This event is part of the Central City Library's celebration of Te Wiki o Te Reo/Mahuru Māori throughout September.
