Taranaki Floral Art Designer of the Year 2024

Floral designers across Taranaki have been challenged and inspired by the Titles for interpretation across six classes for the Taranaki Floral Art Designer of the Year 2024. Vanita Patel and Melissa Peterson from Auckland will judge the many entries that will fill the Centre with stunning and colourful floral art. The designers have four hours on Friday morning (20th) to complete their ‘floral art’ entries on site with judging undertaken in the afternoon, followed that evening with a special Dinner and Presentation of Awards. The designer awarded the prestigious title ‘Taranaki Designer of the Year 2024’ will then have the opportunity to compete against other regional winning designers at the FASNZ Diamond Anniversary AGM & Conference to be held in May 2025 in Wellington. An additional section, the Children's pre-done class has been a wonderful opportunity for many youngsters to use their wildest imagination and create, with all manner of plant material, 'A Stick Creature'. All entries have now closed, however this special floral art event promises to showcase an inspirational and creative display of all manner of fabulous plant material and flowers - alongside some amazing 'stick creatures'!
