About Chloe:
“I have been teaching te reo Māori to beginners for several years, first as an itinerant teacher in primary schools, and then for Whitiora Te Ahu o te Reo Māori. Te Ahu o te Reo Māori is a nationwide programme for teachers aimed at improving their competence in teaching te reo Māori.
“It is important to me to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, as for many of my students it is their first time learning te reo Māori. I enjoy teaching, and it is a privilege to be able to share the beauty of te reo o ōku tūpuna with others.”
This is a Take Part in the Arts event. Take Part in the Arts is series of workshops supported by Waimakariri Creative Communities, to make access to arts and culture affordable. All events are $10 per person, or in the case of this course, only $10 per week.
