Create your own textured bracelet or cuff! They can be easily made from brass, copper and sterling silver.

In this short taster class you will be guided through making a simple but stunning metal cuff bracelet using polished copper or brass. Silver is also an option but if preferred but is an extra cost.

To create the texture on your metal, we will use a specialist jeweller’s tool called a Rolling Mill to imprint natural textures like feathers and dried leaves, or fabrics to imprint texture into your metal. You could also use our selection of jewellers’ hammers to create your texture.

This class is 3 hours long, and you will have the opportunity to practice your texturing techniques before creating your cuff in the metal of your choice.

The cuffs we will make are an open style, which suits easy wear, and we can focus on the texture and the finish of the edges and inside to make sure your cuff is super comfy and beautifully finished.

You can bring along items that you might like to use for a texture - for example, a lock of hair of a loved one, or a piece of ribbon from a wedding band would make a great pattern.

Dried grasses and leaves can also be used but must be Completely dry, and be Thin and stringy rather than rounded or plump.

We also have letter stamps which can look fantastic when used to create a stamped message on your bracelet.

Suitable for complete beginners, ages 16 and up. Students under 16 must be accompanied by a paying participating guardian.
