Celebrating the strengthening of St Luke's Wadestown

Come and join with us as we celebrate the completion of the strengthening project that has brought our church to the required seismic performance levels. We have also taken the opportunity to refurbish the interior of St Luke’s.

Enjoy a tour around St Luke’s designed in 1908 by notable Wellington architect, Frederick de Jersey Clere. Admire the stunning stained glass Memorial Window on the commemorating those who died in WW1 and WW2, and there’s lots more to see.

Service of Thanksgiving and morning tea

We are holding a Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the official opening of our newly strengthened church. Anashuya Fletcher, Assistant Bishop of Wellington will bless our church and meet the people of St Luke’s and friends of the parish.

All are welcome to join us for the service and morning tea afterwards.
