Umber Ground: An Ode to Orange Wine

Umber Ground is a one day celebration of orange wine in Aotearoa. The premise is simple; bring together the most comprehensive line-up of orange wines available in NZ today, along with the people making and championing the wines. It is a chance to discover the diversity of wines bound by technique - whether an orange wine wizard or novice.

Your ticket is your entry into the festival and access to taste all of the wines being poured on the day. A ticket is required for entry. (Food, entry to the “hot seat’ talks, and wines by the glass from the bar are additional).

Doors open at 10:30am and close at 5pm. A timetable for the “Hot Seat” talks will be posted on the website closer to the date.

Umber Ground is taking place in The Atrium of the Exchange Building. On the day, entrance into the event will be limited to the Blair Street entrance.
