Vertigo returns for 2024 for a one night takeover at BAR185 hosted by our very own DJ Raymond. Introducing the ‘Block Party’, an exclusive event developed to reinstate Hip-Hop, RnB and Pop back into the Christchurch nightlife alongside our Afrobeats and Amapiano. Where there’s piano there’s DJ SHDW, popping out from his hiatus for a one off exhibition set you don’t want to miss!

The Block Party is a dual zone event designed to showcase different music genres that cater to different fan bases.

Zone 1: Moshpit.
An interior based setup dedicated to contemporary & throwback Hip-Hop, RnB, Afrobeats and Amapiano mashups played B2B by DJ Raymond and DJ SHDW. These two need no introduction.

Zone 2: Starlight.
The first official event for DJ duo Kava & Pyramids playing their original Hip-Hop, RnB, Pop, and Island remixes for all you to enjoy.
