Do you want to know what you and your family can do to be safe in and around the water? This is an opportunity for all to learn about some great water safety initiatives happening in the local community. Representatives from groups like University of Otago, Port Chalmers Swimming Club, Otago Regional Council (Harbourmaster), Terra Nova Sea Scouts, etc will be present. There will be family-friendly activities, brief presentations, a quiz with prizes, and much more. This educational workshop is free so bring along the whānau and learn how to be water safe on World Drowning Prevention Day (25th July).
