Wellington Jazz Fest: The Seth Boy Trio

LBQ's offering for the 2024 Wellington Jazz Festival is a trio led by Wellington bassist, composer, and band-leader Seth Boy. The sound of the trio will feature original compositions and arrangements through a tight unison of trumpet (Jack Harré), drum set (Dillon Butcher), and bass violin (Seth Boy), making use of the range of intricacy and intimacy of three like-minded musicians, expect heavy lashings of blues, romantic music, and free improvisation.
