With the exhibition: Te Tārai Rangatira - The Forging of Leaders, the collective Te Tārai Rangatira - students from Ōtāhuhu College, will led an interactive workshop that explores the art of whakairo (Māori Carving).
You will learn about traditional patterns and have the opportunity to sketch your design. You will also be able to watch featured artist demonstrate their carving skills and learn Kōrero around whakairo.
Suitable for all ages.
