Welcome to The Forest Bridge Trust’s first-ever women’s trapping workshop. Join Paula and Elena, passionate conservationists who are on a mission, alongside many New Zealanders, supporting the Predator Free 2050 Initiative to protect our native wildlife and create forest connectivity.

Predators, including rats, possums, and mustelids (stoats, weasels, and ferrets), pose a significant threat to our native wildlife and have a particularly devastating impact on kiwi populations.
In a positive and fun environment, we invite you to learn best practice trapping techniques, essential tips and tools, and more about the pests we target so that you can help protect our native fauna and flora. Elevate your trapping skills to contribute to a world where every trap set protects NZ's precious ecosystem.

Traps we will cover: DOC250, DOC200, Flippy Timmy, Victor Rat traps

Following the workshop, we welcome you to come along on a nature walk and put your new trapping skills to the test. Guided by Paula and Elena, enjoy the serenity of nature whilst setting traps. Leaving you feeling confident and empowered.
Numbers are limited, so please book your spot.
