Hi Ladies!
Ever wondered why there are no women's team sports group out there? Me too!
Now is your chance to be part of a new women team sport coming to Christchurch – CATCHBALL!

The beauty of Catchball is that it doesn’t require a ton of skill to get started. It’s accessible to any women between 18yrs. – 60+ yrs old with a reasonable fitness level, a decent pair of gym shoes and willing to learn. Whether you didn’t have time, options, or encouragement before, NOW is your chance to join likeminded women in Christchurch for fun and fitness.

What is Catchball?
Catchball is a lot like Volleyball – but instead of bumping and spiking the ball of the air, you must fully catch the ball. The object of the game is to pass the ball over the net to ground it on to the opponent’s court to earn a point, and to prevent the same effort by the other team. The sport is played on a volleyball court with six players on each side of the net.
New players will learn how to catch, throw and spike the ball, while laughing and having fun.
And be prepared to make new friends!

So, bring your shoes and grab your friends and daughters and come and join me for Catchball from the 15th Oct. till the 17th Dec. (Term 4) between 10.30am – 12.00pm at the Avon Hub Sports Centre.

The first time will be free. A term fee of $60 applies after or a casual fee of $8 per session.
