Wrights Hill Fortress-King's Birthday Open Day 3rd June.

Friends and family are welcome at the King's Birthday Open day at the historic Wrights Hill Fortress in Karori. Bring a torch for some fun!
Take a one- hour self- guided tour to see a DVD of a huge 9.2-inch gun test firing, historic photos, the engine and radio rooms and shell stores. Free map and history pamphlet supplied.
Also, on show are living history displays from WW2 and the Vietnam period.
Refreshments on sale and moderate admission prices.

Limited car parking at the top of the hill. Try the walking track, or road to the top.
