Writers on Mondays: Re-Verse Yourself!

This week at Writers on Mondays: "Re-verse Yourself" with Jane Arthur, Jake Arthur, and Sylvan Spring.

How can poetry make room for versions of ourselves that the everyday world doesn't accommodate? How can it reckon with the perma-crisis we're living in? Whether questioning the limits of our comprehension, revising the Tarot to create a whole new cast of characters, or writing new bodies and identities into the record, poets Jane Arthur, Jake Arthur, and Sylvan Spring put their own spin on what it means to be alive right now. They appear in conversation with Pip Adam.

Writers on Mondays events are open to everyone and free of charge.

Writers on Mondays is presented by the International Institute of Modern Letters and The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. The 2024 series will run from 12.15—1.15 pm each Monday from 8 July to 30 September 2024 at Te Papa Tongarewa and Circa Theatre, with two special evening sessions at Meow.
