Create your Custom Email Template

What your Custom Email Template is used for

Your Custom Email Template will be used for automated emails sent when there is a ticket purchase and to send event reminders to ticketholders. It will also be used when you issue promo codes or comp tickets where you will be able to customise the messaging within the email.

 

Once created, you will be able to select this template to use when creating Ticketholder Communications.

 

Log in

Log in to Eventfinda Promoter Portal with your account.

 

Go to Customisation

From the Dashboard, click on Customisation and Email Templates on the left-hand side menu.

 

Create your Custom Email Template

Click Create Email Template.

 

If you already have email templates created you will see them here and can click to edit them.

Name template

Name your template and then click Create.

Customise template

This is where you can customise your email template that will be sent to ticketholders.

 

Add a header image 650px wide of any height

Change the background colours or add an image

Change the font colour

Change the link colour

Add a footer image 650px of any height but usually this would be smaller than a header image

 

Click Continue or Save as Draft to come back to finish it later.

Select event that will use this template

Click the event (events) that will be associated with this email. You can only have one email template per event but your email template can be used for multiple events.

 

Click Review.

Review & publish

Review your email template and click Previous if you want to go back and change anything. Otherwise, click Save as Draft to return to it later or Publish to make it live.

Done!

Your new email template is now saved and you will see it when you click Customisations and Email Templates. You will also be able to select this template when creating Ticketholder Communications.
