Jonathan Van Ness – Road to Beijing Tour

Emmy Award-nominated TV personality, Jonathan Van Ness, is debuting in New Zealand next year February, performing his latest comedy show 'Road to Beijing' in Auckland and Christchurch. After his NZ dates, he will be going straight to Australia to wind up a series of stand-up gigs in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

Since breaking onto the comedy scene in 2013, Jonathan Van Ness has become known for his fabulous, unstoppable energy. His upcoming 'Road to Beijing' tour was inspired by his ongoing attempt (and lifelong obsession) to become a figure-skating prodigy—just in time for the 2022 Olympic cycle in Beijing!

Aside from his live stand-up acts, Jonathan can also be seen starring on Netflix's Emmy Award-winning reboot series 'Queer Eye' where he shines as the show's groomer, hair guru and self-care advocate. In addition to this, Jonathan has also starred on the acclaimed TV show 'Gay of Thrones (Funny or Die)'—a witty social commentary series recapping HBO's 'Game of Thrones'. Launched in 2013, the show just wrapped its seventh and final season and garnered Emmy Award nominations in 2016 and 2018 for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series.

Jonathan also continues to work on his podcast 'Getting Curious'—a weekly exploration of all the things he is curious about. It was listed as one of the Top Podcasts of 2018 by Time Magazine, and recently won the iHeart Radio Award for Best LGBTQ Podcast. Most recently, Jonathan announced that his revelatory memoir 'Over The Top' will be released on September 24, 2019.

Join Jonathan Van Ness as he takes the 'Road to Beijing', and witness his unmissable, side-splitting shows next year!
