Manioro 2024 in Hawke's Bay / Gisborne

MANIORO 2024 is a 3-day festival for Takatāpui, Pasifika Rainbow+, MVPFAFF+ and LGBTQIA+ peoples and whānau including communities, organisations and churches. The event is designed to create safe spaces for Māori and Pasifika LGBTQIA+ and Rainbow+ peoples to be free to be heard, free to be seen, and free to be their full authentic selves without denying any part of their holistic identity out of shame or stigma. MANIORO 2024 will be the third national event since it’s inception, by the Nevertheless Trust, in 2022 and the second in Hawke’s Bay. Our overarching theme is “Love us the same, hold us the same” - Amanaki Prescott-Faletau.

Tickets can be purchased for individual sessions or you can buy a VIP/CORPORATE ALL ACCESS PASS - which gives you entry to all sessions, a gift bag, merchandise, and other exclusive extras. Although some sessions are free, you will require a ticket for entry to any and all sessions.
There are only a limited tickets available for sale.

2. [$50 +fees] Navigating the Vā - Education Session - Friday 1 March 2024, 9.00am - 2.00pm
3. [$5 +fees] “Our Stories” - Reclaiming our narratives - Friday 1 March 2024, 6.00pm - 8.30pm
4. [FREE – MUST REGISTER] Creative Wānanga - Toi Moana - Saturday 2 March 2024, 10.00am - 2.30pm
5. [A$10/C$5 +fees] Fiafia Manioro Concert - Saturday 2 March 2024, 6.00pm - 8.30pm
6. [$10 +fees] Playing us out! (After function) - Saturday 2 March 2024, 8.30pm - 9.30pm
