An insight into the history of the Vella whānau and living with Ngāti Toa Rangatira on Te Mana o Kupe (Mana Island), by Robert McClean. Robert is a Principal Advisor for Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira, the mandated iwi authority for Ngāti Toa Rangatira. Robert graduated from Massey University with degrees in resource management and historical geography. Currently, Robert is a (part-time) doctoral student at the Museum and Heritage Studies Programme, Stout Research Centre, Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington.
Walking shoes required, ground may be slippery after rain. Toilet facilities not available on site but are in the village nearby.
