This great one-day class is ideal for beginners, but experienced students are also welcome. Have fun making your own ring or perhaps a wonderful Christmas present for a loved one! The workshop runs from 10am - 4pm with a lunch break.

Students will practice making simple textured or polished rings in either copper or brass, then move onto making one or more silver rings from start to finish. They will learn measuring, texturing, soldering and finishing techniques to make beautiful, wearable rings!

Students can choose from creating textured, stamped or polished rings in flat metal, or adding in stacking rings in wire and bar. More experienced students may wish to make a wider ring, or a series of rings, perhaps in a tapered form or including finer details and finishing, or possible stone setting. This is a one-day class aimed at either providing a fun experience with a great result, or excellent grounding in basic jewellery techniques for those wanting to pick up the activity. Course fee includes practice materials and 8g sterling silver. Extra materials are available to purchase in the workshop if time allows. As this is only a one-day class we will be providing a set range of widths for your ring bands so as to make the project enjoyable and achievable.

Kids aged 12 and up (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
