Listen to Sabotage at MelParsons.com
Sabotage is the Lyttleton-based artist’s sixth studio album and fans have already lapped up singles Offer Down, Little Sadness, Circling The City, and new single (and streaming hit) 5432.
The album, recorded in Lyttleton at Basement Studio and co-written and produced with Josh Logan, sees a contemplative Parsons skillfully weaving together a tapestry of ethereal and hypnotic soundscapes. The songs are raw, and at times dark – perhaps a reflection of the time in which they started to emerge; written across lockdowns.
What the critics say of Sabotage:
"Sabotage is pure triumph" 4 stars Rolling Stone Australia
"Hypnotic songs and clever arrangements" - Graham Reid, Elsewhere
"a seasoned songwriter in her element" - UTR
